My name is\u00a0Sylvia Jarabo<\/strong>I am a professional woman like you and I decided to create\u00a0Promising Women\u00a0<\/strong>After a 25-year career in the business world, I spent my younger years working endlessly as a consultant at McKinsey & Co., a large company where I gained professional training. I then joined Vodafone, the multinational company where I trained as an executive and as a member of Senior Management on its Executive Committee. For a few years now, I have been independently pursuing my two passions: the digital world and the development of female executives.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

My motivation is to help every woman with professional ambition to successfully develop a professional and personal career.<\/strong>I don't want women to have to choose one thing or another; that's why our approach is holistic. Helping them so that\u00a0become the best professional possible<\/strong>\u00a0with all its capabilities to the maximum. To which\u00a0make the best decisions,\u00a0<\/strong>starting from the moment they choose their studies. Providing them\u00a0career guidance<\/strong>\u00a0when they feel they need it. To take advantage of all the\u00a0opportunities<\/strong>\u00a0that can be offered to them. To make them feel\u00a0accompanied<\/strong>\u00a0on this difficult path of the professional woman.\u00a0My motivation is<\/strong>\u00a0that the\u00a0Companies support and advance female talent in their management teams<\/strong>\u00a0and I am convinced that this can be achieved.<\/p>

As\u00a0Executive Coach<\/strong>, I specialize in women with professional ambition, to whom I offer\u00a0my own real experience as a senior manager and head of family,\u00a0<\/strong>the\u00a0intensely shared experience of dozens of talented professional women<\/strong>\u00a0who have been generous enough to share it with me for this purpose, and the strength and focus that it provides me\u00a0Columbia University, NY<\/strong>, in his\u00a0Coaching Certification Program<\/strong>\u2013 Executive and Organizational Coaching for which I have\u00a0certified as Executive Coach<\/strong>.<\/p>

Through\u00a0Promising Women<\/em>\u00a0support for companies and management<\/strong>\u00a0to achieve\u00a0develop faster, further and more easily.<\/strong>\u00a0Focusing on what, based on my experience, I would now do differently: giving greater visibility to my opinions, actions, and successes; clearly and vocally expressing my ambition and desire to advance on the professional ladder; establishing and developing more professional relationships; understanding and capitalizing on our differences; identifying and combating biases\u2026<\/p>

I wish this was something natural that we were taught to do from kindergarten, but in the meantime, I want to contribute my grain of sand through my experience, to ensure that\u00a0Both women and companies understand and develop diversity as a key tool in their value creation processes.<\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

I contribute to\u00a0Promising Women<\/em>\u00a0three fundamental dimensions that I consider the keys to my professional success:<\/p>

  • Diverse Business Focus.<\/em><\/strong>. Always\u00a0I have taken advantage of the differences<\/strong>\u00a0that exist between the commercial approaches of men and women. Combining and leveraging these differences to achieve greater value has been one of the keys to the success of the teams I've led, demonstrating the enormous value that diversity can bring to businesses.<\/li>
  • Diverse Leadership.<\/em><\/strong>I've observed that the women on my teams require very specific support to develop their full potential as leaders, helping them overcome not only these biases but also the potential self-limitations that unconsciously prevent them from achieving the leadership positions their abilities deserve.<\/li>
