PROMISING WOMEN is committed to protecting the privacy of users who access this website and / or any of its services. The use of the website and / or any of the services offered  by PROMISING WOMEN, implies acceptance by the user of the provisions contained in this Privacy Policy and that their personal data are treated as stipulated. More information can be found at: https://mailchimp.com. The Rocket Science Group LLC d / b / a treats the data in order to provide its email services to the Owner.

Occasionally, Promising Women may make an analysis or study through a third company, with which it will contract this service. According to this, the person interviewed, surveyed or who has completed forms or surveys accepts that their data may occasionally be accessed by third party recipients for the indicated purpose.

Transfer or communication of personal data.

PROMISING WOMEN, informs you that the personal data or information provided by the person interviewed, surveyed or who has responded to forms, will not be transferred to third parties, except as described in the previous paragraph «Recipients of the data» or by legal obligation.

What rights does the user have and how to exercise them?

Any user has the right to obtain confirmation about whether or not we are treating their personal data.

How have we obtained your data?

To browse PROMISING WOMEN it is not necessary to provide any personal data, except in the following cases, always voluntarily and not necessarily all fields:

Collection of personal data in interviews and surveys

This data collection is done through personal interviews and online surveys. Occasionally also through other information collection techniques (e.g. focus groups, participation in tests or studies, etc.). The user’s participation is always voluntary and explicit.

All data collected are voluntary and refer to personal and professional information of the person interviewed/respondent, such as:

  • In the case of personal interviews, age, place of birth, studies carried out, jobs occupied, current professional situation, etc.
  • In the case of online surveys, sector of activity, type of position held, existence of children, years of professional experience, opinion on certain professional aspects, etc.

No data classified as «sensitive» according to the European data legislation (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR) will be collected, except in the case in which the person interviewed judges that such data is relevant in his case, communicates it spontaneously and voluntarily and gives an explicit consent for it.

What data do we process?

The data we process ranges from the following categories:

  • Identification data.
  • Postal or electronic addresses.
  • Other data requested in our forms.

The data is limited, since we only process the data necessary for the provision of our services and the management of our activity.

For what purpose do we process your data?

We detail below the purposes of the data processing carried out by any or all of the Treatment Managers listed above:

PROMISING WOMEN will process and collect the data obtained in interviews, surveys and other techniques in order to develop studies, analyses and measures aimed at the development and advancement of professional women, as well as management and consulting services related to these activities.

In the case of interviews, surveys and other techniques where appropriate, the data provided will not be used individually and in case this happens, a complete anonymity of the same will be ensured, as well as no specific information that allows the subject to be identified. If PROMISING WOMEN  wishes to publish personal data of any person interviewed or surveyed, this will be duly and clearly informed in advance  and PROMISING WOMEN must have in writing and explicitly with the authorization of said person before publication.

In the case of contact data such as names and surnames, email or telephone, these will be used to (1) send summary information of the online survey, if requested by the person concerned, (2) communication of events or results related to the presentation of such information, (3) information about services provided requested by the person concerned,  (4) where appropriate, incorporation into  the PROMISING WOMEN Newsletter, (5) personalized communication about services that require it requested by the interested party (e.g. coaching), (6) request for voluntary participation in market research related to the activity of PROMISING WOMEN.

PROMISING WOMEN explicitly states that the data will not be used to send any form of third-party advertising.

4. WHAT SECURITY MEASURES DO WE APPLY?

We apply the security measures established in article 32 of the RGPD, therefore, we have adopted the necessary security measures to guarantee a level of security appropriate to the risk of the processing of the data we carry out, with mechanisms that allow us to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, availability and permanent resilience of the treatment systems and services.

Some of these measures are:

  • Performing regular backups.
  • Data access control.
  • Regular verification, evaluation and assessment processes.

6. INFORMATION AND COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING POLICY.

PROMISING WOMEN undertakes through this means not to make misleading advertising. For these purposes, therefore, formal or numerical errors that may be found throughout the content of the different sections of the Web, produced as a result of incomplete maintenance and / or updating of the information contained in these sections, will not be considered as misleading advertising. PROMISING WOMEN, as  a consequence of the provisions of this section, undertakes to correct it as soon as it becomes aware of such errors.

For these purposes, all information sent  to PROMISING WOMEN clients whose purpose is to maintain the existing contractual relationship between  the client and PROMISING WOMEN, as well as the performance of information tasks and other activities of the service that the client has contracted, will not be considered as commercial communication.

In the case of receiving communications by these means (emails, automated form response messages, and other communication systems) we inform you that the messages are addressed exclusively to their recipient and may contain privileged or confidential information. If it is not you. The indicated recipient is notified that the use, disclosure and / or copy without authorization is prohibited under current legislation.

In accordance with the provisions of Law 34/2002 of July 11, Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce, and Directive 2002/58 / EC we inform you that in the event that you do not wish to receive communications and information of a commercial nature through this electronic communication system, indicate it to us by this same means indicating in the subject LOW COMMUNICATIONS so that your personal data are unsubscribed from our database. Once your registration for an event, training or service has been confirmed, the corresponding payment will be charged through commonly accepted means of payment.

Once the payment has been made, no refunds will be accepted, unless the event was canceled by PROMISING WOMEN, for any reason, in which case the payment would be returned in full to the participants.  PROMISING WOMEN reserves the right  to cancel the event in advance, without the need to justify cause, without this granting the right to participants to any type of compensation, once the money of their registration has been returned.

8. TERMS OF USE. JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAWS.

The use of this website implies full acceptance of the terms of this legal notice.  This Legal Notice and all relations established between PROMISING WOMEN  the User of the Website and its services will be governed by the provisions of Spanish legislation.
